Pop Levi: Never Never Love
Counter Records

Very promising appetizer to Pop Levi's Never Never Love full-length scheduled for early summer release. The title tune amounts to a juicy three-minutes of flamboyant dance pop spiked by the so-called metrosexual's bright vocal, funky electro toms, guitar fills, and best of all catchy hooks. The song's about failing love but you'll be so transfixed by its pop sheen you'll hardly notice the lyrics. Pink Enemy's electrofied “Never Never Love” is less taut than the original but the makeover—heavy on voice shredding and vocoders—is no less enticing. The good times continue on the B-side ballad “Love You Straight” with plinking pianos and pure vocal harmonies going down extremely easily. Mark July 14th on your calendars for this one.
